MuscleNerd, the jailbreak developer recently tweeted that the SAM unlock activation method might not work as expected going forward. The very reason for this is Apple started fixing their activaction servers. Due to this the SAM activation method can no more be used. He feels that he was a little hasty about dismissing Gevey Ultra 5.1. But for those who have created SAM activaction tickets and unlocked using SAM activation method, there is some good news. Generating new tickets might not be possible with SAM, but taking backup of existing tickets ensures you are in a safe zone. So take a backup of SAM activation tickets before its not too late.
This can again be attributed to the fact that whenever an alternative to Apple's restriction is released, it sustains until a patch is released by Apple. But then the patch this time was released very soon.
